Interview Skills Programme

From September to December YIC worked with the Leaving Cert Applies and 5th year students from the Presentation Convent. The aim of the programme is to prepare students for an interview for a place on a PLC course.

We worked with each group for a total of 5 classes and went possible questions that might be asked.Mock interviews were carried out to improve confidence and also to identify and improve on any weak areas. read more...

Driving Skills Programme

This programme was designed in conjunction with staff from No 4. The programe was devised to inform young people on all aspects of safe driving beginning with Driver Theory and ending with sitting their test. read more...

European Youth Week Project

During october and November YIC worked with a group of Transition Year students in Galway Community College. The programme was a joint initative facilitated by staff from GYIC and The Gaf youth health cafe. read more...
