Health Programme

 Shower and Laundry FacilitiesThis programme was designed to focus on the young person's health needs in a holistic way. In 2008 No.4 purchased a washing machine and dryer to facilitate a laundry service in No. 4 which has proved to be an invaluable resource for our service-users.

Showering and basic hygiene is a fundamental need for all human beings, but for those who are homeless this is rarely feasible. Here at No.4 we provide a showering and changing facility. Toiletries are also available on request. This service is available throughout the day.

 A "healthy lifestyles booklet" which examines issues such as stress, exercise, healthy eating, sexual health and health promotion programmes and services is also available to young people and is included in the updated moving-on pack.
