Driving Skills Programme

This is a joint initative between GYIC and No 4. Delivered over a 6 week period the modules include:  Driver Theory , Workshop involving the Garda Road Safety Officer , workshop withthe Western Drug Taskforce Officer,  workshop with the Fire Service, Driving Simulator, Mechanical workshop and a fun trip Go-Karting with 2 driving lessons for each participipant with certain conditions. The programme is based No 4, however some of the content necessitates off-site delivery for some of the modules.

There is ongoing support for young people until they sit and pass their Driving Test. There is a new programme begining after Easter, times and dates to be advised.
